PTA

The goal of the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is to bring about a closer bond between parents and the school by encouraging dialogue between both parents and teachers in an informal atmosphere. It also raises vital funds to pay for extra school equipment through social events.

Cockington PTA’s aim, quite simply, is to help support the staff in providing our children with the best possible education. It is through the dedication and commitment of everyone involved with the PTA – who generously give their precious time for free – that substantial funds needed to provide valuable extra resources for our children at school are raised.

We run various events throughout the year and are always open to ideas and suggestions. Our shed is situated at the Avenue Road entrance of the school opposite the main school hall. If the door is ever open, come over and have a chat. Our information board is situated on the entrance to the playground. Requests for volunteers and any up-coming events will be posted here as well as newsletter being sent home in the children's book bags.

If you would like to volunteer you can contact us via email at cockingtonpta@yahoo.com or via our Facebook page. You can always leave us a message at the school office too. Please feel free to drop us a line. It would be lovely to hear from you.

Come and visit our Facebook page too for regular news updates and events.
